Bromo volcano


 Bromo is an active volcano in East Java. This mountain is located in the caldera where there was once an ancient Tengger volcano which experienced a large eruption. The name Bromo comes from Brahma, the main god of Hinduism. In Bromo there are still many people who follow Hinduism and every year there is a tradition called Kasada, Kasada is a tradition of giving thanks to God for an abundant harvest or there are wishes that come true marked by throwing agricultural products and livestock into the crater Mount Bromo, also a form of gratitude to the gods.

What need to bring when you go to Bromo?
